So I found this show called New Girl it has Zoey Deschanel ( I hope I spelled that right...) and it's about her character Jess living with 3 new male roommates after finding out her former boyfriend was cheating on her.  If you have never seen this show i would suggest it! Zoey is a beautiful, and talented young women and the show is just too funny!

As i was gooogle-ing (is that a word?) Zoey i found out about her little singing group She & Him. I knew about them for a while but i never really got into them until now!

I love her style and their songs! If you also love Zoey and M.Ward (He is the "Him") let me know about some songs i might like! M.Ward was at the Winnipeg Folk fest back in 2011 :D

Dandy Little things

WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! It's been forever! holy smokes! okay so a summary of things that has happened to me since Christmas until now.

1. For Christmas i got a forever lazy! and just dance 3...best thing ever!

2. I got rid of facebook for a month and 4 weeks! (i shall share that story later)

3. I got a camera so yay new photos coming soon! (as soon as i find the connection cord)

4. I saw the movie the Artist and fell in love with it!

5. I found out i'm going to San Diego :D yay!! VA-CA!


So as you can see my christmas/wintery background is gone :( i miss Christmas! but know what comes after?? SUMMER!!!!!! NO SCHOOL!!!!!!! FOLK FEST!!!!!!!!! MAGICALNESS!!!!!!!!! woah, magicalness is not a word? I will soon change that.

So i've been lookin' at some stores (vintage of course) to find some new spring/summer dresses! :)

Usually i hate this color of yellow but the dress is so cute that i just leave that part alone.

Have A WONDERFUL life

Hello everyone! :) sorry it has been forever!....Now i know a lot of people say that all the time and they come up with excuses like I had school, i got married, or the dog ate my computer.. Well i want to tell you all the TRUTH about why i haven't blogged... the truth is....I forgot...i know lame but true!

I thought today's post would be about WONDERFUL things that you can put in your friends stockings if they are a vintage lover like me :) Okay lets get started.

1. Coca cola ads!

I love old vintage ads! and if you go to any vintage store you are sure to find some ads for Coca Cola and much more! Sometimes they are made on paper and frame but mostly they are made out of metal! They made a great decoration for any vintage lovers room!














2.  60's sunglasses!!!

These plaid sunglasses are a favorite for every Vintage lover! :) 













3. Movies!

All Vintage lovers love movies! There are so many classic Christmas movies like The Shop around the Corner or Meet me in St. Louis! If you want to get a classic film go to www.tcm.com and order your movie now!

Oh, How I Love Fondue!

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been forever since I last posted! School got in the way.



During the time that i was not posting i have learned some things...

1. I eat way to much during Halloween.
2. Micheal Buble's Christmas Album is amazing!!!
3. I love the first snow fall :)
4. Fondue is scrumptious

A couple days before Halloween we had some crazy fog!..spooky!

These were taken over a week ago, Since then the snow has melted. :( But then after Halloween we got more snow!!! and it stayed for about 3 days then it went away again. BUT JUST TODAY IT SNOWED AND IT'S GOING TO SNOW ALL WEEK!

As you can see i love snow :) I love snow because it reminds me of Christmas! and Speaking of Christmas you must buy Michael Buble's New CHRISTMAS ALBUM! It is perfect for the Holiday season! click the video here to watch the trailer for it

 The last thing I am going to talk about in today's post is Fondue!

I went to a family friends house for dinner and all we ate was fondue!! :) first it was cheese then meant then Chocolate..I have never eaten so much in my entire life!! soooo goooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanted to then look up so funny/cool fondu pots and this is what i found.

  To tell you guys the truth there are not that many funny/cool fondue pots out there...So i encourage you to be on the look out for them and if you find some let me know!!!

Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone!
Because I'm Canadian I had Thanksgiving on October 10th so for those in the U.S.A here are some cute thanksgiving things you can do in November.

So my mom and I were in charge of bringing some appetizers to the Thanksgiving dinner and I was searching the internet and found the perfect thanksgiving appetizer! 

                 Fruit Turkey!

It was very easy to make! the tooth picks went into the pineapple very easily. In the original recipe it says to use a melon but a pineapple worked just as well. So i encourage you to try the Fruit Turkey this Thanksgiving! It was a huge hit at my family gathering.
